Elective Sunday School Class
Grace is offering a series of short-term Sunday school electives. Find out more information on the current elective, including registration information, by clicking here.
Solid Rock - Room 156-B (middle of Gym)
This is a great place for everyone to start! We are a multi-generational class that meets for an informal time of Bible teaching and discussion.
College Class - Room 015, Section 1 & 2 (Lower Level)
Consisting of students from area schools, this is a college-aged class. We look at Jesus’ life through an in-depth study of the Scriptures.
Foundations - Room 006 (Lower Level)
We are a group of engaged couples, newlyweds, and young families that strive to build strong family foundations rooted in Christ. We do this by meeting and sharing life together on Sunday mornings as well as connecting with each other throughout the week. Our desire is to develop authentic community among each other and anyone looking for a place to connect.
Families for Christ - Room 116 (across from the Worship Center)
We are a married couples class that focuses on encouraging one another to effectively impact our homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods for Christ.
To A Thousand Generations - Room 020 (Lower Level)
This Sunday School class forms the foundation for a tight-knit, but welcoming, multi-generational community of people who love God and try to honor Him as Savior and Lord. All lessons are based on the Bible and structured according to the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Since all ages are welcome, the lessons are taught in such a way that our three-year-olds can understand, but also that our adults are challenged. This group mostly consists of young families, but all ages are eagerly welcomed.
Crossroads - Room 256
We offer solid, biblical direction for men and women seeking spiritual growth and direction while in a period of life transition. Our prayer is “Speak Lord, now we’re listening.”
Special Education Class - Room 172
We are a fellowship of believers that are blessed with special needs. A devoted staff teaches and demonstrates the love of Jesus in this Sunday School class that meets from 9:15 a.m. through 11:10 a.m.
Proverbs 27:9 - Room 143
This class provides a setting where wives of non-believers can study, share, and pray with one another. Our goal is to live a victorious life in the midst of an “unequally yoked” marriage.
Grace Connections - Room 145
Would you like to better understand how the Bible applies to your personal life and witness? If so, join us for an in-depth look at God’s Word with time for questions and comments. Married or single, regardless of age, all are welcome!
Ambassadors for Christ - Room 017 (Lower Level)
In accordance with 2 Corinthians 5:20, the theme of this class is the development of contextual insight and constructive engagement with the world around us.
1 John 1:3 - Chapel
“That which we have seen and heard we declare to you...” This class has its goal set firmly on God’s Word.
Christ First - Room 156, Section A (Gym)
This class is for adults of all ages who are committed to Christ. We look at life honestly in light of God’s Holy Word.
Cornerstone - Room 009 (Lower Level)
We encourage one another to build families with Christ as the cornerstone by facilitating a wonderful Christian community of prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.
Friends in Faith - Room 015, Section 3 (Lower Level)
Focusing on fellowship with one another and the Lord, this group desires to build strong relationships while striving to follow God in every aspect of life. “Those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard.” (Malachi 3:16)
Growing in Grace - Room 021 (Lower Level)
This class has adults of all ages who study the Bible together with lively discussions. Discover how God’s Word still speaks to us with clarity, authenticity, and power; and meets our needs for time and eternity.
International ESL Discussion Group - Room 140 (Cry Room, right entrance to Worship Center)
This class, led by Mike Uno, is designed so that those who speak English as a second language can learn basic Christian teaching about God, Jesus, man, the Bible, the church, and our eternal destiny. The class will use a discussion-based format so that everyone can participate and learn. The class meets every Sunday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
The Song of Solomon
Sunday School Elective
June 27-August 8, 9:45-10:45 a.m.
The Song of Solomon is a compendium of love songs about a youthful romance that became a lifelong commitment. The Gospel Transformation Bible introduces our study: “The Song of Solomon is a lyrical poem that celebrates marital love through beautiful sensory scenes and sensual imagery. It provides us with God’s wisdom on intimacy and relationships.”
Admittedly, the Song of Solomon is unashamed to sing about love in emotional, sexual, and relational images. We will see in this seven-week study a picture of love for people who are still figuring out how the pieces fit together. Unlike today’s culture that struggles to understand true affection and love, the book mainly shows us the way things were always meant to be, without shame, fear, or loneliness. Whether you are young or old, married or single, the book is one of the best places to see a passionate, beautiful, smoldering, abiding love relationship of which God approves.
However, the book is not just about human love relationships. It is also about the soul’s relationship to Christ. You will see Jesus in the midst of this beautiful romance and will gain fresh insight into the loving nature of the Savior who inspired the Song. As a result, we are helped to fall in love with Him all over again.
This course will be taught by Pastor Paul Utnage and takes place on the east side (cafe side) of the Gym, 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Sundays, June 27 - August 8.

Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship
And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
