Men of Grace:
Growing In God's Grace Together

Deeply Rooted

Men's hearts rooted in the foundation, Jesus Christ, and his unlimited grace

  • Jesus Christ stepping down onto the earth, doing the work that no man before him was able to do. Tilling the soil of men's hearts, disrupting the lawless norm. Planting the seed that is himself, dying and rising to life to produce it. (Philippians 2:3-11, Colossians 2:13-15)
  • The Holy Spirit being planted in the hearts of men, changing deepest desires and guaranteeing eternal life for those repentant men. (Romans 8:2-6)
  • God the Father, the Source of the water of life and light, graciously giving men unlimited access to the only true source of security, identity, purpose, truth, and love; Himself. (Revelations 22:1-2, 1 John 1:5-7, James 1:17, Ephesians 4:6)

Standing Firm

Men standing firm in the Spirit, striving side by side for the sake of the Gospel

  • Men relating to God. (1 Corinthians 10:31, Philippians 4:8-9, Mark 12:28-30)
  • Men relating to their wives. (Ephesians 5:25-29)
  • Men relating to their families. (Colossians 3:19 and 3:21, Proverbs 13:24)
  • Men relating to other men. (John 13:34-35, Philippians 2:1-4, Ephesians 5:19-21, Ephesians 4:25-32, Proverbs 27:17)
  • Men relating to church leadership. (1 Peter 5:1-5, Romans 13:1-7)
  • Men relating to the lost. (Matthew 5:13-16, Matthew 9:35-38, 2 Timothy 4:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:2&5)

Bearing Fruit

Men bearing life-giving, eternally significant fruit in every God-given responsibility

  • Our legacy of good doctrine is maintained and increased, and our passion for the things of the Spirit is ignited. (Galatians 5:15-17, Revelations 2:4-5)
  • Wives are freed to love and trust their husbands. (Ephesians 5:25-27 & 31)
  • Children carry on the godly legacy. (Proverbs 22:6)
  • Our desire to connect with and serve one another overpowers all self-centeredness, thus proving to others that we are disciples of Christ. (John 13:34-35, Philippians 2:4, James 5:16)
  • Church leaders would be respected and built up to lead well. (Hebrews 13:17, Romans 13:7)
  • Non-believers would know the truth of the gospel by our word, and see its effect by our love and transformed lives. (Ephesians 4:14-15, 2 Corinthians 7:10, 2 Timothy 4:2-3)
