Truth Be Told: Things No One Talks About
Women are more often asking for practical, Christian help for the difficult issues in their lives they do not know how to deal with. Yes, they need to know the Word and how to apply it. But they also need to have a safe place to have authentic conversations and receive practical, biblical help and advice for the hard things they never thought they would need to deal with. This event will be a long morning with a main session and then three workshops from which the women may choose two.
In the plenary session Pat Edwards will talk about the need to start a discussion on women's mental health and touch briefly on boundaries, enabling, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, multiple personality disorder, and marriage issues. Pat is a therapist with the Antioch Group.
The four workshops are listed below. Choose two. Remember, these will be presented from a "how to help, how to heal" perspective so even if you don’t find yourself in a particular situation, these workshops will help equip you to minister to others.
