A House In Order
On Sunday, March 22nd, we will be joined by Pastor Mark Bates, as he shares a sermon on the subject of stewardship.
Then, later that evening (5:00pm-7:30pm), there will be a free dinner in the gymnasium followed by the House in Order workshop (also in the gymnasium). At the end of the time, participants will be invited to fill out an inventory that details out their current financial situation and goals. Those leading the House in Order workshop will then make a trip back up to Peoria 4-5 weeks after the March 22nd workshop in order to meet with individuals and to go over the inventories that have been turned in by those individuals.
What is "A House in Order"
The House in Order seminar is a ministry of MTW’s Center for Estate and Gift Planning. The purpose of the seminar is to serve Christians by preparing them to give out of their estate or help them maximize the impact of a current or future gift.
During this seminar, you will learn how to:
• Place biblical stewardship at the center of your estate plan
• Leverage tax dollars into charitable gifts
• Make sure your estate plan is relevant in difficult economic times
• Protect your estate plan from failure due to family conflicts
• Recognize how recent tax law changes can affect your estate and charitable giving
